Acorn Furniture is a furniture manufacturer based in Motueka, New Zealand, taking a human-centric approach to design. A second-generation family business, it grew out of Woodwrights, founded in 1997 by Adrian Trewavas, with Acorn Furniture formed in 2002 to focus on furniture for the aged care, retirement, and healthcare sectors. Its Motueka operations include a timber manufacturing factory with a 5-axis CNC machine, a separate melamine and upholstery factory, and an in-house freight and delivery division.
