About

Beacon Hill is a heritage homestead and farm in Hope, Tasman, with a history dating back to the 1860s under the Paton family. The property includes a country store in a historic barn selling designer clothing and vintage furniture, a rustic farm-stay apartment in a converted early-1900s milking shed, and an events venue hosting functions and seasonal Pop-Up Restaurant Nights. It is also home to New Zealand's largest yak herd.

Reviews

From the hearts of a family passionate about people and community, attending the Beacon Hill Market is lovely way to spend a day whether a stall vendor or market goer the quality here is high. Flower arrangements so carefully created they look like a painting, cakes, muffins and edible arrangements that seem to have been teleported from the table of Marie Antoinette herself. If you like to browse for antique or vintage treasures with history, Beacon Hill Market management insist on quality, originality and ownership of stall profferings and from what I viewed and purchased the items on offer have not only survived generations because of care and guardianship but came with their own story for the next generation to enjoy. Fruit, veggies, coffee and crepes were amongst the refreshments available so tempting they are a must. Homespun items, carefully crafted clothing and wonderous smells from candles or soap you will find if difficult to leave empty handed. Look out for their next one as they are 'Themed' to create variety. Enjoy

Every one or 2 years a fantastic market is held. Lots to buy at fair prices. The Becon hill clothing in the big building were top fashion. Very easy to park. Wonderfully atmosphere and I would like to see this event yearly.
