Visiting Nelson for a week I contacted Nicola re having our cairn terrier. I appreciated the quick responses via emails. Having read the previous reviews & updated photos we knew she would be settled & happy. During our visit we were given updated photos on Facebook & texts. Apon picking Molly up she was happy & content. So impressed with their facilities and very caring staff. Highly recommend this facility and we will be back.

All our small dogs very happy to go here and happy when we pick them up too. They are well catered for and it's good to know they're happy while you're away

We had never left our dog Nellie at a kennels before. I had seen a couple of kennels previously that didn’t seem right for us, then a friend told me about Canine Retreat. From the first phone call I was impressed. Sam wanted to know about Nellie and asked her to pop in for a trial to ensure she would fit in. That meant I got the opportunity to visit and be reassured. We dropped Nellie off feeling so relaxed and confident that she was in the best hands. Nicola and her team are outstanding. Their passion for caring for animals shines through. What a wonderful place Canine Retreat is. We can’t wait for our next holiday now we have no worries about leaving Nellie. 🐶

We have had our Papillon, Abbie at Canine Retreat for 10 days. As she had recently been diagnosed with a heart condition and required regular medication we were worried as to how she would adapt to the kennel routine. Terry was marvellous in both caring for her and keeping us informed of her status.He sent us several emails and and I was able to talk to him by phone. She had settled well with no problems.
