About

Country Kids is a rural, community owned pre-school in the Moutere valley, at 1519 Moutere Highway, Upper Moutere. It offers full and part-time education and care for children aged 0 to 5 years, with three programmes: Pikopiko, Ngā Whetū and Just 4 Kids, and small group sizes. Registered teachers use the Te Whāriki curriculum, and the not-for-profit centre has operated for more than 30 years under a Board of Trustees.

Each time I visit as a grandparent, the welcome is warm, but most importantly, the children there all appear happy, relaxed and engaged in their play. The staff are wonderfully interactive with them all and my grandchild just loves it there.

Both my boys and I LOVE county kids. The people there are amazing. The most kind caring people you will ever meet. The centre layout is awesome pleanty of space and freedom with a real family feel. My little boys are learning and growing in this beautiful environment.

Having had three kids go through the centre, we are thrilled with the care and education they received. The staff are warm and friendly and they take extra care to cater to each childs needs. A friendly, safe environment for the kids to grow, what more could a parent ask!

Country Kids is a fantastic place for children to grow and learn. Not only is it fully resourced and has an amazing outside area including sandpit, heaps of climbing equipment, bike track and veggie garden, it has totally dedicated caring and professional staff. My 3 children have all been to Country Kids and they love it. So do I! I can't recommend it enough.
