About

Māpua Community Hall is a community-owned and community-run venue at 72 Aranui Road, Māpua, offering multi-functional spaces for hire for events and groups. Originally a packing shed at Kina, the building was moved to Māpua in 1944 and officially opened as the hall on 9 March 1945. It reopened in August 2013 after a renovation and is run by the Māpua Public Hall Society, a charitable trust funded through venue hire, membership and donations.

A wonderful facility, lots of art groups and other great things going on. The lack of parking is the only downside
