About

Māpua Playcentre is a licensed early childhood centre that has served families in the Māpua community for over 60 years. A qualified supervisor attends each session, and parents take part alongside their tamariki, following the Ministry of Education’s Te Whāriki curriculum. Sessions include nature play, with trips to Rabbit Island for water, forest and marine exploration. The centre runs Monday and Thursday mornings and welcomes visitors.
