Murchison Sport Recreation And Cultural Centre

Hired for an event. Kitchen is not made for catering no bench space washing unit is in wrong place water did not drain away properly, fridge had moldy racks which was cleaned n scrubbed by us. Gas went out twice which is not good for the catering side of things, stupid idea to have gas oven in a venue for hire (it should b electric)alot easier for hires, Hire price was ridiculous as we could only use the main hall without Bar area (apparently they dont have a bar licence or nobody with a licence wasnt quiet clear) missed out on money there. We had a byo which worked ok. I would recommend that u have a good walk thru before hiring. Grounds outside the hall was a great place to relax n let the kids run around.

Awesome. Great sports hall and function room. I hire the conference room quite a bit too. Lovely lovely staff. So lucky to have this place in Murchison! Makes us very happy.

Rec centre is a great place for gatherings,weddings, special occasions,birthdays, sports,meetings and funerals!
