About

Tapawera Playcentre is a parent-led early childhood centre at 56 Main Road, Tapawera, part of the nationwide Playcentre network. Parents attend alongside their tamariki aged 0-6 in a child-led environment that encourages learning through free play, following the Ministry of Education's bicultural curriculum, Te Whāriki. New families are offered three visits before they enrol. Sessions run Monday and Thursday, 10am to 1pm.
