The Country Store stocks dairy equipment, chemicals, gardening supplies, animal foods, clothing and gifts, alongside a small garden centre. The vet clinic treats large and companion animals and offers a 24/7 emergency service. It operates as a not-for-profit society.

Huge shout out for Rural Service Center Vet Clinic, Takaka. The team immediately jumped in and treated my standard poodle who had cut his paw in Okiwi Bay. Consultation at 2pm, into surgery for stitches and back with us by 5.30pm. Follow up 3 days later for wound check and rebandage. Awesome service and care, all done with a smile 😊. A great comfort to have such amazing care while traveling around Golden Bay. Top marks team!! Thank you.

Staff are super knowledgeable and helpful. Great range of organic seedlings, and was stoked to get a massive bag of wood shavings for my compost toilet
