Wildcat Charters

Best charter I have been on. Skipper Leigh is a top man, very informative and helpful. He really wants to put you on the fish. And he did! We went on the inshore trip, only 3 of us in total, but Leigh made sure we did not miss out on the action. When the first spot didnt produce, we found some Kahawai boiling up and got onto those. Then we moved onto a lovely and very productive location, which was great fun and constant action! He also put out a long line for us, to ensure we went home with plenty legal eating fish. Finished it all off with a sightseeing tour. I think we were out for longer than we paid for too! BEST VALUE CHARTER I HAVE EVER BEEN ON. We had an awesome trip. Good size Snapper, up to 6kg, Travelley, Gurnard, Blue Cod, a few sharks and more. We were lucky enough to witness a blue cod being attacked by a 2.5 meter shark right in front of the boat. Then we ended up hooking a monster stingray, which we followed across the ocean for at least half an hour, unfortunately it was not planning to land in the boat and it never left the bottom until the line broke.

Me and my partner came down from nelson and did a charter with Lee who is an awesome human with a great personality and funny as and his wife is absolutely lovely. We had a great time on the water unfortunately it wasn't upto Lee's standards but we all had an awesome time. Lee will always do everything he can to make sure you have a good time and catch fish.
