Darren was our guide for our tour! We had an amazing experience! We learned so much throughout the tour and even saw baby fur seals playing in the ocean. And the snacks and food along the way were very tasty - the homemade banana bread, veggie sandwich, and muffin were delicious! You can definitely tell Darren is passionate and enjoys teaching others about Abel Tasman. This is a must-do tour when visiting the National Park! Plus, they support local conservation projects!

Had an incredible time from start to finish. Darren was great: very friendly, hospitable, knowledgeable about local wildlife and ecology and knew where to go to find the best views. We were able to go into some small bays and channels due to unusually high tides, even went under Falls River Bridge. Tea and lunch on the beach were tasty. Always enjoyed the interesting stories Darren had to tell. This is a great way to enjoy a morning and afternoon here in Abel Tasman. If I came back with family or friends I'd take the tour again!

We had a wonderful day seeing Abel Tasman NP from the water with Darren and Abel Tasman Eco Tours. Darren was so knowledgeable about the flora, fauna, and history of the area - and this is why we wanted an actual tour instead of just a ride in a water taxi. The scenery was beautiful and the food (tea and lunch) was excellent. Darren’s love of being on the water and of the area really made the trip special, and it was nice to get to parts of the park that we never would have seen otherwise. Highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Darren was fantastic. We had a wonderful day as a family with two young kids. They loved the sightseeing, playing on the beaches, looking for wildlife and enjoying the provided homemade snacks and lunch. Would highly recommend this personal experience in a small group.

My husband and I took an Eco Tour with Darren, and he was a wonderful host/driver. We did get to see a lot of Abel Tasman and got a lot of insider info from Darren! Would highly recommend this trip for anyone who wants to see the national park.
