Abel Tasman Lodge offers a range of timber chalet accommodation, including a Studio Chalet, Kōwhai Suite, One Bedroom Chalet and Two Bedroom Chalet, at Mārahau, five minutes' walk from Abel Tasman National Park and close to cafés, restaurants, water taxis and kayaking. Chalets sit in native gardens with modern tiled bathrooms and private indoor and outdoor dining areas. The lodge has been rated New Zealand's number one Small Stay by Tripadvisor in 2019, 2020 and 2022.

We really enjoyed our stay at Abel Tasman Lodge! The location was perfect - a quick walk to the water taxi, the coastal track, and a couple of restaurants. We paid for breakfast one morning before our tour and it was delicious! The lodge even had a hot tub which was perfect after a long adventure. Definitely recommend staying here!

Really loved our stay at Abel Tasman Lodge, located within walking distance of the National Park walking track. The room was immaculate, had beautiful view over the garden and lovely breakfast served by Tina each morning. Great location for a colouring with Abel Tasman Water Taxis Next door.

Good location at the entrance to the national park with friendly owners who generally make a great effort. Unfortunately, the lodge is showing its age, and the furnishings are worn. An update would help. However, the lodge's appeal lies in its location.
