Our 3-night stay was way too short! The cottage was great, spacious and fully equipped. Breakfast provisions were very tasty, especially the fruit and marmelade. The view on the inlet was breathtaking at sunrise. We got more than we hoped for!

We booked the Karaka (sp?) cottage for 3 nights in February 2026. Could not have been a more enjoyable experience. The (charming!) cottage sits on the edge of acres and acres of wetlands. Very large, many windows, full kitchen, outdoor soaking tub, and fully stocked (eggs from the property's hens, granola, yogurt, coffee, bread, etc.). Exceptionally clean. Very private. One of the nicest places in which we've stayed - ever.

We stayed in Miro Cottage for two nights. A beautiful, restful, peaceful place to stay. Well equipped with all the equipment you need for a self-sufficient break. The bed was very comfortable! Thoroughly recommended. Beautiful view up the estuary - I spent quite a lot of time just sitting, reading a book and gazing at the view.
