Alioke Eatery is a cafe in Berryfeilds, Richmond, run by husband-and-wife duo Alison and Marc. Alison leads the kitchen, drawing on her chefing and marketing background, while Marc manages the front of house after previous work in labouring, landscaping and painting. The all day menu runs from 7.00am to 2.30pm, featuring bagels, breakfast dishes, burgers and cabinet food. The cafe also serves real fruit ice cream and Sublime, a locally roasted coffee.

Great location for a Mother’s Day breakfast. With playground attached it makes for an easy and relaxing experience. Great staff and amazing food!

Loved the variety of options available for me as a Celiac. I had the BLT; delicious. My friend had the GF corn fritters that looked and tasted amazing. Hubby had cheese rolls (not gf). Great coffee & the gluten free ginger slice was exceptional. Very good outside area for sitting & kids playing area was well set out. Will be back for sure. Another visit I had the gluten free cheese scone - crunchy crust & very delicious.

Gorgeous coffee, had 2. Creamy mushrooms were divine & a little bit different (better) than the norm. Partner impressed with the Big Breakfast. We're heading to Motueka so this was a 'point at Google' decision & loved it. Lovely ppl .

Was visiting Nelson for the weekend. And this was the only place we could find open early for breakfast. Food was great coffee was great, Service was great and food cooked and delivered very promptly
