Amy's Bait Shop & More is a small, family-run shop at 618 Abel Tasman Drive, Clifton, Tākaka, selling fishing tackle and bait alongside handmade gifts, chapsticks, bath bombs, shower steamers, natural insect repellent, and seasonal garden-fresh fruit and vegetables. Amy hand-ties all tackle and the bait is carefully sourced. The shop offers fishing rod hire, the only such service in town, along with free local advice, and is a cash-only store, though internet bank transfer and Tillify are accepted.

Have visited this lovely local business many times over the last couple of years and always got top notch service and bait has been fresh every time, with an ever expanding variety of bait and quality tackle (cheaper than anywhere else in takaka by far) we have never been disappointed! At times have been fortunate enough that she has also had some yummy spray free fresh produce available as well which has accompanied our catch very nicely. Well worth the visit either pre planned to stock up or on your way out to fishing! Many thanks Amy!
