Very relaxed vibe, and quick to get into the fishing. Not heaps of rules which was great. Quick to catch a salmon and have it freshly smoked on the table with your choice of sides. Very reasonable prices and friendly staff😊

Went in to do salmon fishing and planned to get them smoked as well, yum!!! Each one of us got rod and guided by one of the lovely workers on how to fish, tips and trick etc and how to dispatch the fish. you'll get the full experience and the adrenaline rush the moment your bait got bit by the salmon and your reel started screaming. One of the tips that I learned as an experienced angler myself, you don't need to cast your bait too far out, have around a meter or two of line out and keep bobbing dipping the bait around, it will work just find. Also make sure your bait, or in this case the pellet is right on top of the shank of the hook so that that chance of hooking up the fish is higher. Patience also ;). So just cast it or swing you line in front of you and don't move it at all and leave it for 10 seconds like that and watch the fish started chasing your bait. Some might get hooked. If not, lift the bait up and repeat the same thing again and again until you catch a fish. I can guarantee you that you will catch a fish within 15 minutes at the most. Yall will enjoy it, trust me. You can also feed some eels along wee creek while waiting for your salmon to be cooked on site. Good luck happy people!!!

What a fun and delicious thing to do. We’ve never been fishing before so we weren’t sure what to expect. But we needn’t have worried - a member of staff helped us and we caught a salmon. We chose to have half smoked and the other half as sashimi, and once it was ready, we ate it there with chips and salad. Brought home what was left and will have at least two more meals for the two of us. The freshest salmon we’ve ever eaten, plus a great activity, something a little bit different. I ordered salmon during the Christmas season, and it was such a wonderful experience. I placed my order about a week in advance and left a note saying that I wanted to enjoy it as sashimi. On the day of delivery, I was a little worried about whether it would arrive safely. However, the day before delivery, they kindly sent me an email with the delivery status and provided a tracking number so I could check it anytime. The next morning, the fresh salmon arrived perfectly. I had it as salmon sashimi for dinner, and it was fresh, and absolutely delicious. After receiving the salmon, I felt so impressed that I knew I had to write a review—it just stayed in my heart. If I could give ten stars, I would happily give all ten.
