Exceptional. Owners Allan & Miyuki are kind, charismatic, very accommodating and funny! The hostel immediately feels like home, with multiple kitchens, lounges, bathrooms, and a beautiful garden, it’s easy to see why people keep coming back. I’ve been travelling the world for 11 years and hostels like Annie’s Nirvana Lodge are rare. Highly recommend.

We thought this place was such a delightful place for a holiday with our kids. We stayed here overnight with our two kids. It had a very homely vibe and the owner is so friendly. The outdoor courtyard area is really lovely place for eating and for the kids to play. Inside there is a nice lounge area with lots of games to play. Great heating with a toasty warm fireplace too.

This place doesn't deserve the bad reviews! Sure it's old and a few things are broken, but it has lovely homely vibes and they crank the wood fire and heater in winter to make sure everyone is warm. Allan, Miyuki and Ian are so kind and helpful, nothing is a problem with them. 10/10 would stay again!
