Unfortunately I am a picky pie eater and experienced pie maker. So I returned two pies.. it was a simple error. The first 2 pies had been in the warmer too long. The staff were extremely patient , polite and apologetic dealing with me. Long story short. I got a great pie, for a reasonable price and the best service I have experienced in a very long time. Great choice of pastries and pies. They do not accept foreign credit cards so have cash if you aren't from NZed. The location is a bit worn but clean and located on the main street through the town

I’m from Europe, a proper bread is traditionally a big thing in my culture. I’m sorry but New Zealand does not know what a real bread is. This place has 100% authentic bread just as I know it from home. It looks like, smells like, tastes like exactly as the bread I love at home. Very impressed. Also nice staff, good coffee… 5/5!
