Reviews

Nice enough spot for a break, lots of bird life, we had cheeky Wekas and a curious Robin close up. Surprised by the number of sand flies given the temperatures. 馃槵

This was certainly a welcome sight when I arrived just after 5pm, after setting off from Saxon @ 9.10am! I stopped Gouland Downs hut for about 3/4 HR & Perry Saddle Hut, similar, having a late lunch about 3.00pm. As there was only three other people there in a tent, I decided to 'sleep' in the shelter, to save time the in the morning. I thought the Wekas would keep me awake, but it was just too uncomfortable, with only my millimetres-thick mattress; and it got pretty cold too. Had breakfst @ 4.30am & set off for Brown hut @ 6.10am
