Autumn Farm is a clothing-optional gay and queer-friendly accommodation on Central Takaka Road in Golden Bay, welcoming naturists and pansexual guests. The 1.2-hectare garden property includes a campground, lodge, rustic cabins and dormitory, plus a swimming pool and communal facilities with no en-suites. Solar water heating, composting toilets and an on-site well support an eco-positive lifestyle. Meals are available on request or guests can self-cater. Day visitors can use facilities for $20.
Regrettably, my long association with Autumn farm has come to an end. This due in most parts to the increase in costs unexpectedly and in my view unreasonably charged for me to stay in my own cabin. I say unreasonably because over the years I think that I have contributed financially through making my cabin available through the years as a let as income totally for the farm as well as other financial contributions such as the golden shower, rainbow painted table and benchs, the massage table and linens, participated in various fund raising activities for the farm. I also contributed $15.000 towards the sewage treatment plant. Over the years I have painted buildings , furniture. Also gardened, and mowed grass. My understanding was that the few weeks I could spend at the farm each year would be at no cost to me. I feel the approach taken by Peter is short sighted and can only speculate as to what their motivation for this decision is. I hope to be able to sell the cabin for removal unless someone who visits the farm is interested in buying it. This ends a chapter of a most enjoyable few years when I could meet up with friends and enjoy the atmosphere at Autumn farm. Yous Nicky.(Nickypoo)

It's a really nice accommodation. It was quite sad that I stayed there in wintertime because there weren't so many people. I'm really looking forward to coming back one day in summer time.

Peter & Pete have created a little oasis for gay men to express themselves which is very appreciated and makes for a serene environment to spend time with others or alone.
