Bacca Bakery is a bakery and restaurant on Motupipi Street in Tākaka, Golden Bay. Originally established in Tukurua in 2019, it now bakes sourdough breads and pastries from organic stoneground grains, using organic produce sourced from local Golden Bay farmers. The range includes rooibos custard danishes, whole-rye pumpernickel and sourdough cruffins. The bakery also runs pop-up restaurants featuring local organic produce and natural wines, and offers takeout, delivery and in-store pickup.

Amazing! Friendly people, lovely service and amazing food with such a delicous and unique range of food. Love the laminated pastries and sourdough - very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend to anyone! Does look like you use to get a bit more chocolate though on the croissants but still no complaints

What a gem! Young, friendly people with a vision! Everything is homemade from organic, local ingredients. Sourdough in a croissant, wow! I've never seen or eaten anything like it before, but it's incredibly fluffy and the taste is simply amazing! (And I'm not usually a fan of puff pastry). The other pastries, cakes, pies, sandwiches... and the breads are all wonderful. You can feel the love and dedication of the crew; everyone is incredibly friendly and has a kind word for every customer. Be proud of yourselves and keep up the great work!!!!!

A place where they are passionate about their product from grain to flour to the table. And it shows. The baking is beautifully different. Local soft drinks and filter coffee. The inside of the shop is laid back and stylish with lots of lovely touches. Absolutely spot on.
