About
Club Waimea is a community club in Richmond offering a house bar, gaming room, off sales, and function rooms for hire. Its restaurant, Phil's Place, serves an a la carte menu Thursday to Sunday from 5.30pm. The club runs over 14 sporting sections and special interest groups, an outdoor bowling green, squash courts, and hosts live entertainment most Saturday nights, including local bands and karaoke.

We celebrated my husband's 70th birthday at Club Waimea recently. I was able to organize everything over the phone about 4 weeks prior. We had a room for our family and a brilliant buffet meal. Thanks Phil. Later on some of us moved into the main area and enjoyed the live band that was playing. Thank you to all the staff that made the evening so special.

Was there in the weekend for.the weekend for a pool tournament its a great we classic club. The staff were amazing especially ange absolutely made the weekend special.

Club Waimea provided very good value and a great selection of salads, hot vegetables and meats. If you need catering done for a crowd, it's worth considering.

We ate here twice, the food was so good. A big establishment, unusual these days, and quite full both days, must be doing something right! Definitely will return.
