Collingwood Park Motel

We stayed here for a night after driving from christchurch. Was much nicer than I was expecting coming from what my expectations of US motels is! Rooms seemed fairly new and updated. I had a late checkin and they accommodated me well with having to check in so late after a long day. Excellent location to get up to wharariki beach in the morning!

Great little spot in Collingwood ideal jumping off point for the spit, various hiking options, and the rugged northwest coast. Nice room, king bed and very clean. Friendly people. Recommended.

Came over from Wakefield for Two nights white batting. Caught some Bate and had a lovely stay. Will be back next year. perfect location and very private. Lesley & Bill

Staying at collingwood park motel for us was an overall very calm and pleasant experience. We arrived late in the day due to a long drive from our days activity, and knowing this the owner kindly messaged me explaining checking in and our room, making the experience that more personal. Our room in question was very comfortable with the twin beds equipped with warm blankets for the chilly night. Overall I would this is the place to stay if you’re thinking of visiting this part of Golden Bay!!
