One of the best cinnamon scrolls we have ever had along with the coffee. Takaka is a lovely town the people are so friendly highly recommended stopping here.

Awesome! The steak in their steak pies is so tender it falls apart nicely as you eat it. THE best steak and cheese pie I have ever tasted. The pastry is flakey and perfect. I have my coffee made with very specific and annoying instructions, they took my order well, remembered all of my changes/requests. out of 6 visits I told them my coffee instructions 1 time and they got it correct all 6 visits. Definitely a great place to check out if you are visiting takaka. They have amazing home made food, baked/made fresh daily.

I tried vegan food for the first time, and it really surprised me! I didn’t expect sweet potatoes to be that sweet or beetroot to taste so fresh. It totally changed how I see vegan food — now I’m actually excited to try more vegetarian dishes.

Del-ish Cafe in Takaka has a lovely, authentic local vibe that makes you feel instantly welcome. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. While I only tried the coffee, which was decent (7/10), the food menu looked quite enticing with a good variety of options. The cafe itself has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The standout, however, was the exceptional service provided by all the staff. I would definitely recommend Del-ish Cafe to anyone visiting Takaka and would happily return myself.
