Fabulous place to stay so quiet only 5 km from Motueka town center. Perfect for young and old. Continental breakfast with fresh eggs every day. We Will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully central yet peaceful countryside lodge. The location is perfect – close to everything, yet surrounded by nature and tranquility. Waking up to stunning mountain views and the mystical calls of the pukeko from the neighbouring paddock felt like stepping into another time 🦕 Fresh fruit straight from the trees on the property was such a special touch. Breakfast was outstanding – fresh, generous, and clearly made with love. The service and hospitality were warm, genuine, and exceptional throughout our stay. A truly special place we would happily return to!

Doing the Great Taste Trail, we do not get to choose our bnb’s but this was much better than I expected. Lovely clean rooms, fabulous gardens, scenic location so that sitting at outdoor table make is so restful to stay here. The breakfast is fabulous with artisanal bread which I toasted and I sampled the various jams and honey which Barbara and Eric make. Most impressive is having choices of great quality plunger coffee (Rabbit island coffee and Little Sheep coffee ) and as I am fussy about my morning coffee, I was delighted to sample 2 types using small French presses. Free range eggs also available at breakfast which I think most of the guests enjoyed. I enjoyed chatting with Barbara very much and can highly recommend this place for any traveler in this area.

This is probably the best place I've stayed in New Zealand. Lovely hosts, delicious fresh goodies from the garden and breakfast every morning, very well-equipped kirchen, and beautiful grounds. Easy proximity to Motueka, Abel Tasman, and right on the Great Taste bike trail. The only thing is that the walls are thin so bring earplugs in case the fellow guests aren't so quiet :) Overall and amazing value and will definitely be back.
