We spent seven full days (8 nights) here. The Little Greenie was wonderful to live in. Our (grand)kids had been here as well for a few days (in Kiwi Greenie), and they also loved it, we had a great time together, including 2 joint hikes which the small kids enjoyed very much. So we really had a completely happy time here!

A stunning stay for our little family at Golden Bay Hideaway. We stayed in the house truck with was well set up for up to 4 and had wonderful weather the whole stay so could make use of the outside BBQ and bath. The addition of a paid taxi service to be able to do the northern loop of the Abel Tasman route was great for us as meant we did far more of the route than we expected before we arrived. The beds were super comfy and the addition of a child safety net over one was a good idea. The inclusion of games etc inside the house also meant we felt if the weather hadn't been great, we'd have had a wonderfully relaxing time. The night sky was also amazing and worth spending a few hours admiring.

We spent a wonderful 2 nights staying in the House Truck. The outside bath was a delight with a lovely view to gaze out to whilst soaking our weary feet after walking a stretch of the Abel Tasman Coastal path. The truck contained everything we needed. We had a lot of privacy as It is very secluded from the road and the other house sites. The compost toilet was fine to use. In fact the strongest smell came from the onion skins that I had also composted in it. The two little Wekas that lived in the bush next to us were a delight and always appeared at cooking time. I wish we could have stayed longer.
