Haven on Glenaven B&B

The room was very spacious and extremely clean. In fact, it was cleaner than any other hotel I’ve stayed at in New Zealand on my three week trip. Sometimes staying in someone’s home can feel uncomfortable, but this was not the case at all. Julie was so welcoming, and the guest rooms are on the top floor and each have their own private amenities. Julie was incredibly kind, offering helpful information about the area, and she went above and beyond by doing our dishes, refreshing the breakfast food in the fridge, and tidying up every day. The neighborhood is super cute and peaceful too, and our room had a lovely view of the mountains. This was definitely a better deal than any other hotel in the area. I would absolutely stay here again.

Accomodation is clean, comfortable and has beautiful views over the ranges. Short 20mins walk into town or only 3mins drive. Close to Kaiteriteri. Our host, Julie is very friendly, helpful and even offered to ‘drop’ us into town. Breakfast was good. Highly recommended and would stay here again!

It's a great place to stay. You immediately feel like you're coming home. The room is inviting and clean. The bathroom is comfortable, and the breakfast is very nice.

Julie and Grant were excellent hosts. Very informative on attractions in the area and very friendly. The room was absolute five star, and scrupulously clean. There was everythink we wanted and the supplied breakfast was nutritious. Julie offered us home made hot cross buns , very delicious. I can fully recommend a stay with Julie and Grant. Thank you so much to our hostess Julie. A phenomenal time, always friendly. Muesli was a huge win and the home baked hot cross buns were magnificent. Great room with all the amenities needed for bed and breakfast. Great location. Easily found and within reach of local restaurants. A definite for someone who wants peace and quite, good bed, fresh fruit. Thank you and will see you again.
