Hazelwood B&B Mapua

Hazelwood is a fantastic place to stay, from the moment you arrive it’s like staying with family. Sally and Ian are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully decorated. Breakfast is continental and waiting for you when you get up, Sally had even boiled the kettle in advance. Tea and coffee along with biscuits are always available. Hazlewood is very conveniently located with only a 10 minute walk to the local restaurants and bars. Māpua is a great place to be based for touring the region

Fabulous accommodation and Sally was so attentive and lovely. Made our stay so memorable. Beautiful breakfast, warm croissants and muffins each day. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't highly recommend this place enough.

We had a wonderful stay. The room is spacious with a very comfortable bed, nice views and a well presented bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. We especially enjoyed the fresh baked muffins. Sally and Ian are very gracious hosts.

Ian and Sally gave us a warm welcome. They were always available to answer any questions. Our room was clean. The breakfast was plentiful, lovingly and attractively presented. We felt very comfortable and would definitely come back.

We stayed here on our Great Taste bike trip & I could not fault this B& B. Sally & her husband were attentive to all our needs to make our stay most enjoyable. The breakfast was great as were all the little touches like shortbread & our complimentary wine & nibbles on arrival. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hazelwood B&B
