Nice tender chicken though the coating was not so crunchy. Good fries cooked in nice clean oil.

The flatbread turmeric number was nothing short of perfection with its blend of savory flavors, and my husband loved the way his delicious, fresh fish was cooked. We also had breakfast and enjoyed the rich, sweet French toast that melted in our mouths! The servers waited on us like we were their only customers in the packed restaurant as we enjoyed the stunning view. Phenomenal in every way!

We ended up having dinner here for two nights in a row because it was so good! Staff is super friendly and found us great tables in the sun, even though we had no reservations. We had the fish of the day, lamb and shrimps, poke bowl with tuna and the ribs, which are literally coming off the bone. One meal better than the other. I don't think I have ever had such tender, fresh a d tasty tuna before. The only thing one should know is that the portions are not huge, it was just okay for us, but if you are a good eater, you might want to have a starter or additional sides.

Yum!!! We had the best dinner at Hooked after a full day at Abel Tasman. We were able to get seated immediately without a reservation and loved that our table overlooked the water. Our server was so kind and helpful with recommendations. The lamb and shrimp and the fish special were cooked and seasoned perfectly. We were so thankful they were able to swap in Hokey Pokey ice cream in our affogato. Definitely the priciest restaurant in town, but so worth the cost. We loved everything we got. We’ll definitely be back!
