Hop Revolution is a hop-growing and processing business based in Richmond, founded in 2014 by plant scientist Dr Susan Wheeler. The company operates two farms at Tapawera and Kohatu in the Motueka River Valley, growing nine hop varieties across 220 hectares. Hops are picked at a tailored time for each variety and processed using Wolf picking and drying technology, then supplied to brewers. The farms are Global G.A.P accredited.
