House of Li is a family-owned Chinese street food restaurant on High Street in Motueka, run by Richard and Li. The couple met while Richard was backpacking through China and now serve dumplings, bao buns, Chinese pancakes and noodle dishes made with free-range eggs, chicken and pork, with no MSG or artificial flavouring. Dine-in and takeaway are both available, with outdoor seating.
Dumplings are very good. Sweet n sour pork(with rice) was just as good $18, could have used half a dozen more pork bits but none the less very nice.

A bit of a hole in the wall but the service was quick and friendly and the dumplings and bao bun were delicious.

This review is for 2020, the last time I ate here, but I love this place so much I still think about it five years later. Food was cheap, great quality, all free range, and tasted less oily and more wholesome than a lot of similar foods I've had. Beef noodle soup is the best I've had, and the staff are friendly and kind. I hope I get to eat here again someday.

Absolutely wonderful food and perfect service everytime! Known the owner and her son for 5 years and are always really friendly and have tried nearly every bubble tea and bit of food they have, have never been disappointed! ^_^ 11/10

Absolutely love this little place. Friendly service, small menu but everything is really good. My fave is the Chinese pancake and the bao buns. The kids love the sushi too 🍣 really recommend you try them if you haven't already
