Great camping ground across from a safe golden beach. There's a shop, and kayak hire plus day trip excursion business start from there. Boat ramp, bush walks, bike trails. A big camp ground that's very busy, particularly in January. Cabins are booked well ahead. A bit too busy on the beach on the weekends but a great camp ground with good amenities.

Overall, pretty good. Not smoke free, though, so keep that in mind if you are bringing your kids.

We had a great time here for 3 nights around new years eve. Staff were friendly and helpful. The sites are comfortable and well kept. Guests seem to be quite respectful of each other and it's a nice vibe through the whole area. Access to beaches and shops was easy.

When I arrived I was amazed at how busy it was and how packed in everyone was but I do have to say it was never an issue. Everyone is very respectful of their space and it is surprisingly quiet and night. I feel it is very well run and any issues are addressed very quickly. The facilities are great and clean. Great hot showers and kitchens are well equipped. Would highly recommend.
