Kaiteriteri Recreation Reserve
About
Kaiteriteri Recreation Reserve is 250 hectares of Crown land that includes Kākā Point Historic Reserve, Kaiteriteri Estuary, and Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park, at the entrance to Abel Tasman National Park close to Nelson. It is governed by a Reserve Board appointed by the Minister of Conservation and receives no government funding. The reserve offers beachfront apartments, family cabins, and a campground, along with a waterfront restaurant, an on-site convenience store, and Kākā Point Cafe.

We absolutely loved this site, we were here in our van was suppose to stay for one night ended up staying for 3 it was so good, the staff are super friendly, the site is immaculate and a great location, highly recommend, we will be back 100%

Stayed in a caravan, the camp facilities were great the shop and café were great. Amazing place to take the kids 10/10

one of my favorite campsites in NZ! It was so close to the beach, the sites were more spacious then a lot of holiday parks and the vibe was immaculate. The showers were warm and always clean and had nice lighting.
