Amazing location in Golden Bay - making all the best beaches and attractions quick drives. Awesome views and a great large lounge with a fireplace and fully equiped kitchen. World class way to enjoy one of the finest parts of NZ - highly recommend.

We absolutely had amazing 5 nights in the Karu ō te Kiwi. We felt at home from the first moment when we opened the door. So cozy, wonderful and and great views. All clean and the hosts Canada and Ivan are so wonderful people. We were really sad to leave after 5 days. The time went so fast. Thank you for everything! We will defenitely come back if we are back in New Zealand.

What a special place Karu o te Kiwi is! Gorgeous views, superb accommodation, wonderful hosts 💜 The perfect place to relax and just soak up nature. Close to Wharariki Beach and lots of other incredible walks. A great getaway, thoroughly recommended. Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise with us Canada and Ivan 🤗

Nestled in native bush with private walking tracks and easy access to Pakawau beach and Milnthorpe Park, it was the perfect getaway for us humans as well as the canine member of the family. The house is beautifully decorated, and at the same time very cosy and inviting. We enjoyed the rainy days reading a book by the fire just as much as the sunny ones when it was all about those stunning views across to Farewell Spit. A true home away from home experience that we can wholeheartedly recommend.
