Perfect stop on the way back to Nelson. Great wines, knowledgeable and friendly manager, beautiful scenery.

A wonderful afternoon spent at Kina Cliffs on the last day of 2022 with nice wine tasting and the knowledge learned from the manager. Wines are absolutely high quality and the flavour is pure and just right-I like it. When sitting on the deck on a sunny day, what is laid out in front of you is a stretch of emerald-green of grape vines with a hue of sapphire-blue of the sea on the background. What a gorgeous scenery. It's a serendipitous encounter with this small treasure at Motueka . One thing I have to say sorry is that I was so attracted by the scenery at that moment to take some close photos of the lovely grape fruits that I did not notice that there is a small sign which does not allow customers to enter the yard. So it turned out that I had to regress to the cellar door followed by the bark of the dog. Sorry about that and hope my positive review can compensate the vineyard a bit for my unintended offence.

Nice wee winery, has a lovely view out over their vines. They have a small cellar door which offers a good selection of their wines to try. A tasting is $10, but for each bottle you buy they will deduct a tasting from the price of it. They had a dog who came to check us out as well, the staff member was friendly and had good knowledge of the wines. Wine prices were about average.
