Lydia's Cafe is a cafe on Queen Street in Richmond, serving breakfast, brunch and lunch alongside coffee, tea and dessert. It offers dine-in and takeaway, on-site seating, and free street and lot parking nearby. The cafe is wheelchair accessible, welcomes children with high chairs and a children's menu, and is open Monday to Friday from 7am to 2pm.
Lydia's is a high Street cafe in Richmond with street parking and large carparks to the rear. The decor is nothing special. Really nice food here though, both cabinet and from the menu. The coffee is decent and the service prompt.

Consistently good coffee. The best on the south island! Thank you Tara. The food is beautiful and nicely presented. Adel's omelets very tasty too. Amber's breakfast 馃構 Keira always looks after us. Thumbs up to owners Eddy and his wife Del, her baking is delicious 馃構

Called in for the good old morning coffee and sweet treats. Ginger Slice. I've been on the Nelson-Tasman best coffee , to my taste, and have these guys in my group of the 3 best. Very nice space with attention to sound quality with acoustic treatment to the ceiling allowing you to talk to and hear each other. I'll be back to hunt down the next sweet treat with a Coffee of course.

I'm so glad I found this cafe. I ordered the frittata (gf) and a banana & berry smoothie - both delicious. Lovely staff, prompt service, a convivial atmosphere & clean facilities. Well done.馃憤
