Motueka Garden Motel

Extremely pleased with our room. Quiet location only a few minutes drive town. The room was presented well. Freshly painted, new furnishings and carpet. Large windows over look the lawn and garden and garden. My only criticism is that they didn't replace the light fittings when renovating.overal good value.

We stayed here for 3 nights over the Waitangi Weekend in a Two Bedroom Apartment. It was very clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable. Great shower pressure and kitchen amenities. We stayed in unit 11, great for the kids, the playground is within view and the pool is directly in front of you. The managers were friendly and helpful and a quick drive to the town centre. We will be back to stay again, thanks very much!

Friendly hosts. Pool was nice. Great bbq area with big lawn and 2 full bbqs. Nice quiet spot on the edge of town but not far from shops etc. Kitchen had everything we needed.

Dropping a star because the wifi was terrible and the shower was very weak. The wifi has a data limit that we passively used within an hour. In 2025 unreliable WiFi is not excusable. The water pressure in the shower was also very weak. Otherwise, the rooms were spacious and very clean. I appreciated the extra pillows and the couches were very comfortable. Full kitchen with stove, oven and misc appliances. Common outdoor space was pretty and well decorated. I hope they fix the wifi and water pressure, easy five stars with that fix!

I hadn't been back to Motueka in 30 years after leaving when I was 14. Motueka Garden Motel was central to everything we needed and very quiet. Anticipating it was going to be cold we were upgraded to a unit with a heat pump and parking out of the weather. Very clean and affordable. My only concern was that I was too short to reach the microwave, just as well hubby is 6'3".
