My fiancée and I fell in love with Abel Tasman, and Old Mac’s provided the perfect place to park up our campervan and experience the place. It manages to keep secluded, picturesque nature at the heart of the site, whilst also offering superb facilities and no-fuss, friendly staff. There’s such a friendly and welcoming vibe throughout the place. We can’t recommend this place enough!

Camped here in early March. The camp ground is delightful and you can choose where you pitch your tent. Lots of shade and trees. Very good kitchen facilities available and good hot water. All very clean. Relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly staff at reception. Walking distance to the Abel Tasman track. Saw glow worms! Will be coming back!

A true campsite in every sense of the word. Surrounded by stunning nature, with perfect cleanliness, beautiful sites, complete peace, and a genuinely warm and welcoming host — this place touched us deeply. Being so close to the magical Abel Tasman National Park makes it even more special. After two months of travelling by campervan across New Zealand, this is the place that stayed with us the most. We only wish we had stayed longer. Thank you for creating something so special — we wish you all the very best for the future.

Couldn’t be closer to the trailhead. One of the guys behind the counter was really great so affable. Rooms were great with good kit- cooking tools etc. had an air fryer and other things in the studio until. The high ceiling could have been cleaner though.

I spent three nights in this holiday park. It was perfect. The staff are lovely. You have everything that you need. The Abel Tasman track is just 5 minutes’ walk from the holiday park. The place is quiet and in nature.
