Pakawau Beach Camp sits on the sea front at the northern end of Golden Bay, about 14km from Collingwood, offering powered sites for campervans, tent pitches and beach front cabins. Within a 20-minute drive guests can visit Cape Farewell, Farewell Spit, Puponga Farm and Wharariki Beach, and the Old School Caf茅 Restaurant sits across the road. The camp welcomes dogs and offers RV electric hookups plus wheelchair-accessible parking and facilities.

We love staying at Pakawau Beach Camp. Amazing view of the sunrise and beach. A great place for penguin spotting at night, Fishing and close to farewell spit and Wharariki beach. The new owners are very welcoming and friendly. Dog friendly cabins is a bonus. We look forward to going back there soon

Owner was really nice. We could'nt make it to the camp before office closing times but i phoned in and they made sure we could enjoy our stay nonetheless. They gave us tips for things to do and even gifted me a really nice P膩ua shell, when i ask them where to look for them. I even lost my bag and the really nice woman from the office searched for it immediatly, found it quickly and handed it to me. So all together a really nice experience.

This is...in our opinion...1 of the most beautiful camps we have been to. The vibe..the views...the beach..the staff. Will definately be back...if you can get me to leave!!
