Richmond Aquatic Centre

Compact aquatic centre with a good wave pool, 25m pool toddler pool and spa pools. The staff are nice and there is a cafe and gym too. This centre is very popular. Adult entry is $9, children $6. I visited with my grandson on holiday and while we had fun we were left with red, stinging eyes, very different from the better water quality in other pools we have swum in.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Local Aquatic Centre! Richmond Aquatic Centre is fantastic value and boasts a wide variety of excellent facilities. 💰 Value & Membership: We use it daily under a membership which is very reasonable at $99 for 6 weeks. 🏊 Pool Facilities: The centre offers a great range, including a lane pool, wave pool, toddlers pool, sauna, and spa. It's really good to see that they specifically accommodate aqua joggers. 🏋️ Gym & Fitness: The gym, while compact, has a variety of modern equipment, personal trainers, and offers Les Mills classes. A major plus is that the room is kept cooler than most, which is great during a workout. The environment is welcoming, with "normal people" using the facilities, not just "gym bunnies." 🤝 Staff: The front counter staff are friendly and helpful, and the lifeguards are equally great. All staff are consistently friendly. Overall: Highly recommended for its facilities, friendly staff, and great value!

Loved the Aqua classes i attended here! The sauna, amazing!! being quite a clean person hygenically, the changing rooms were clean and tidy. Overall being my first time it's definitely worth my rating.

I had a really good experience at this leisure centre. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making the visit feel easy and enjoyable from the start. The facilities were spotless — everything from the changing rooms to the pool area was clean and well maintained. The pool itself was excellent — spacious, well-kept, and perfect for both casual swimmers and those wanting to get a few laps in. The sauna was also a nice bonus — it’s large enough to accommodate several people comfortably, which made it feel very relaxed rather than cramped. The only slight downside was that it wasn’t quite as hot as I would have liked, but still a great place to unwind after a swim. Overall, a fantastic spot for a swim and a bit of relaxation. Would definitely recommend and will be back!
