About
River Haven is a boutique vineyard on the Motueka River at Ngātīmoti in the Tasman hills, producing wines that are sold exclusively to the Isle of Man. The venue also serves coffee and New Zealand contemporary cuisine, with The Bugger Inn Pub offering handcrafted pizzas and local beverages in the evening. Grapes are handpicked by the River Haven team and local community volunteers at harvest.

Passed by the place the other day and no sign of any roadworks. I noticed the signs that were there have been taken down. Doesn't look like this place is opening back up as it used to. Simply a private winery.

Unfortunately, the place was closed. Which I knew. I just wanted a sticky beak at what was around. Not a sign of Mr Blobby, grrr! Lols.. Looks a lovely spot though. Shame about the flood damage.

Our lunch arrival time was later than expected but we were very warmly welcomed. Great menu selection and delicious food. The apple cider is full of flavour.

A great afternoon out, and an absolute treat to meet Noel. Awesome friendly staff helped to celebrate 4 birthdays. Great to see some of Noel’s car collection too. Will definitely be back!
