Great small scale winery. Excellent dry Sauvingon Blanc. Lots of info provided about the wines and the region. Tasting fees waived if buying a bottle.

Was lucky enough to book a 4 night stay on the vineyard from the UK to explore the area. And it was an amazing peaceful location. Great simple tasting room for the vineyards own wine which we both enjoyed and purchased a couple of bottles. highly recommended if passing by or wanting a great apartment for the night ! A lovely vineyard dog too !

We dropped in out of pure curiosity and were treated to a wonderful hour of wine tasting and stories. A lovely warm environment and some surpringly good wine. I would recommend Riwaka River Estate to any passer by. Even the tasting room has given me inspiration for our old woolshed. Go and see for yourself.

On our way back from a long hike, we spotted this small winery and went in for a visit and wine tasting. The sauvignon blanc was as delicious as their chardonnay - we would have smuggled several boxes of them to Europe if only our luggage wasn’t already so heavy. The owner was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and witty, their beautiful dog an absolute delight. Would definitely recommend!

Would give 6/5 stars if I could. Absolutely tremendous lodging (very well equipped and super comfy) and delicious wines. The owners were really nice people and the garden was in a full bloom. Highly recommend.
