About
Rocky Ridge Cottage is a self-contained holiday cottage on a 2000-acre sheep farm near Takaka, bordering Rawhiti Cave Bush, Abel Tasman National Park and Rameka Creek. It is 10km from Takaka and 10km from Golden Bay's beaches. The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with two king single beds, plus a log fire, outdoor bath and outdoor fire pit.

It's the cleanest, best set out place I reckon we have stayed at. The view's, sound of the native bird's surrounding the place is unreal. We are here for 5 night's stay and will certainly be back again. Wonderful host's, it's a real credit to Jean as it's her project lol, we'll done.

Superb accommodation in a stunning location; very thoughtfully designed & brilliantly equipped. The cottage is a destination in itself, as well as being a good base for exploring the Bay. The conservatory has transparent blinds that open right up, so it can be an indoor or outdoor space (or anything in between); this made it perfect for lazing about on the hot summer days we have just enjoyed. Surrounded by bush & birdsong - unreservedly recommend (Zac's dad). Thanks Jean.
