Salty Swamis - The Food Truck operates from The Barn Cabins and Camp at 14 Harvey Road, Mārahau, about 100 metres from the start of the Abel Tasman Track. It serves breakfast and dinner, Thursday to Monday, with breakfast from 7.30am to 11am and dinner from 4pm to 8.30pm. Excellent dal and vegetable curry with quinoa and salad. Chilled on the sofa with great music being played and drinks from the site shop. Highly recommend.

Nutritious, organic, vegetarian food for the mind, body and soul. It was paramount to see the food was prepared with good intentions, ensuring a pure energy transfer from plate to puku. The dal was a yummy gravy-like consistency and the chapati on point, which must've taken much experimentation to perfect. Ultimately a delicious, energising meal, setting me up for a contented day. The kind of food the world needs. 5 stars all round
