Saxon Campsite
About
Saxon Campsite is a walk-in site on the Heaphy Track in Kahurangi National Park, on the edge of Gouland Downs. It has five non-powered tent sites on wooden platforms, with tap water and toilets supplied with toilet paper. Dogs are not permitted. The campsite sits beside Saxon Hut, one of nine Great Walk campsites on the track, and requires advance bookings.
