Southern Exposure Tours

Having never been to Greece before the southern exposure tour with Silvana sounded enticing. It turned out to be everything that was promised on the brochure. Beautiful, in places still wild, wonderful food and friendly people. The organised guides were knowledgeable and interesting and the group itself was a pleasure to be with. I look forward to going to Greece again and have no hesitation in recommending Southern Exposure Tours to those who want a fun active holiday.

I have taken several tours organised and led by Silvana at WTM and recently returned from the most wonderful small group walking and culinary tour of Athens and the Greek Islands. Extremely well organised, many varied experiences with excellent local guides and enough free time to explore (and shop!) as we chose. Being a small group we were able to form great friendships. I’d do it all over again. Most highly recommended.

Fantastic trip to Greece with Silvana…our 3rd trip with Southern Exposure Tours. The 1st trip was to the Swiss, Italian and Austrian Alps the 2nd one to Andalusia in Spain and the 3rd to Greece. All 3 trips have been well planned, very enjoyable and lots of fun. The guide on each of our trips has been very pleasant to deal with, knowledgable and she/he has gone out of her/his way to make our trip successful. We enjoyed the variety of activities on offer and the challenge of the walking trails. We look forward to our next trip away with Southern Exposure Tours and would recommend the company highly.

The Greek Islands Walking and Food Tour was wonderful. The programme included a really good mixture of activities and I loved all places we visited. Our tour leader was excellent as were our guides. The group all got on well together and were welcoming to me as a solo traveller. I certainly recommend Southern Exposure Tours.

We had a wonderful trip. Loved walking in the Nakasendo trail quite a contrast to NZ trails. The old inns and onsen we stayed at were beautiful. The food was fantastic, the farewell dinner was amazing. The variety of food was fantastic. Loved the efficiency of the Japanese public transport and walking around the old part of Tokyo. Kay our guide was lovely,very mindful of what we wanted ,full of information and very helpful,finding me a sushi maker several days after I'd mentioned it. Highly recommend this trip.
