Sprig + Fern Mapua is a tavern set in a renovated historic schoolhouse in the heart of Mapua, opened in 2015. It serves 19 taps of Sprig + Fern beer, cider and hard soda alongside a food menu, with wines sourced locally from Moutere, Motueka and Waimea. The venue has a spacious interior and a sunny decking area, and hosts a weekly Quiz Night on Wednesdays. It is dog-friendly inside and out.

Would like to express our gratitude for the excellent service last night. We turned up with a party of 9 unannounced to a packed restaurant. Si very graciously shuffled things around to accommodate us. Food was delicious as always, and really great to experience such excellent customer service.

Yum! Mushroom fries? Who knew they were a thing? But they're a "thing" you have to try! Lovely outside seating in dappled light under a tree.
