About
Takaka Golf Club is a nine-hole links course on Boyle Street, Clifton, in Golden Bay, with a full 18-hole layout sculpted from coastal dunes. The course offers panoramic views of Golden Bay and the surrounding mountains, with undulating holes and well-paced greens. Formed in 1946 at East Takaka, the club moved to its current site in 1961 and welcomes both visitors and members.

I really should to put a review because my experience was just amazing! I was just a visitor for a day and I managed to book a greenfee early in the morning with all the stuff I needed (clubs, balls etc..) for only $50 ! But the best is the view you get during you play! Just wonderful landscape :) the courts are also good and funny. Thanks for this experience, I recommend 100%

Good little course for quick little round. Beautiful beachside views with the mountains in the back ground, I reckon you can’t beat a beach front course! Very friendly staff that were happy to help. Thankyou for the good time!

Amazing value and friendly relaxed vibes. Even sorted 8 year old out with a set of clubs so he could have a few hits. Lovely vista and nice links course that coped great with recent rain. Just a great golf course.

Well maintained golf coarse with spectacular views of the sea, estuary, and mountains. Well worth a game if not just for the views alone. Enjoy🙂👍
