Great spacious and flat areas for parking up for a night or two. Close to the lake and lots of walks right here. Has a toilet so that is a bonus if you want to stay a bit longer with your self contained vehicle. Has tap water but it's not really good for drinking or washing dishes as it's quite dirty looking. We did boil it and use it to rinse dishes before washing with our water which was nice. Good for pets to drink.

Great wee camp ground, nice toilets with plenty of toilet paper and the DOC staff that came around to do checks were super friendly.

Vault toilets. Nice bike/ walking trails. $10 a person. Saw a weka. Lots of sand flies. Overall, very tolerable.

Ridiculously busy (there over holiday time tbf) but very popular as all others doc campsites fill up. Toilet requires a nose peg but otherwise it’s fine.

Nice doc campsite near St arnad. Dog friendly. Has a long drop toilet. No water (taps removed) but can get water and use dump station at the camp by lake rotoiti.
