Couldn’t seem to stay away while we were in Takaka! Great food, great prices Noodles are great, stacked with flavour, veggies and meat. Burgers are also delicious! Fresh crumbed chicken on site every day (so good) Chips are always crispy. Fluffy homemade naan.

On a five week road trip around both of the New Zealand islands and trying the hot chips on offer every day in a different place. The Curry Leaf is No.1 in all of New Zealand! The Biggest serving of perfectly cooked and very reasonably priced potato chips we had anywhere. We turned it into a fiesta of gourmet Chip Buttys. A friendly Aussie owner Andrew - THANKS mate! Turned up New Years Day and they were getting hammered. Didnt stop them from turning out some good takeaways. Batter was crunchy and all the food was piping hot. Cheers!

Awesome food, very friendly service, old-school prices. I had 2 fish (deliciously fresh hoki) and a generous half scoop for $12. My friends raved about their naan wraps, too.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! My partner and I were in takaka for almost a week and came here just about everyday! The pork belly wrap is A+++. Tried quite a few things on the menu and loved everything! The burgers were super awesome also. The owner was a cool guy too, great service. Will definitely be back when we get the chance.
